Pip Edwards, Michael Clarke ‘actively avoided’ each other at New Year’s Day party
Pip Edwards and Michael Clarke “actively avoided” each other at a New Year’s Day bash, two weeks after the exes allegedly hooked up at a different party.
Pip Edwards and Michael Clarke “actively avoided” each other at a New Year’s Day bash at Sydney’s Icebergs restaurant, a fellow attendee has said.
The event at the iconic Bondi venue was just two weeks after the former Australian cricket captain allegedly cheated on his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough with the P.E Nation co-founder.
“They were actively avoiding each other,” an attendee at the party, who wished to remain anonymous, told news.com.au. “There’s nothing to report.”

Yarbrough celebrated the New Year in Aspen, Colorado with her sister, Jasmine, and brother-in-law, Today Show host Karl Stefanovic – both of whom attempted to defuse the wild fracas in a public park in Noosa, just nine days later on January 10.
She was filmed slapping Clarke in the face, accusing him of “f**king” Edwards “on December 17”.
“You f**ked her, you’re a f**king dog,” Yarbrough screams in the emotionally charged blow-up, recorded by a bystander and obtained by The Daily Telegraph.
Clarke responds: “Baby you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”
It’s understood Edwards and Yarbrough had been in contact, sparking the confrontation between the latter and Clarke.
In a statement, Edwards did not deny Yarbrough’s claims – instead taking a swipe at her 41-year-old ex, who she dated between mid-2020 and late-2021, and saying she was unaware of the “debacle” in Noosa.
“This is not my circus. Yet again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” she said.
Clarke, meanwhile, told The Daily Telegraph he was “absolutely gutted”.
“I accept full responsibility for this altercation and am shattered by my actions.”
Edwards was photographed at a party in Sydney’s eastern suburbs the same night Clarke allegedly cheated with her on Yarbrough.
Photos taken on December 17 show the P.E Nation co-founder arriving at the event alongside model agent Jaz Daly, dressed in an all-denim ensemble.
“Denim and Diamonds,” Edwards captioned an Instagram post of her outfit on the evening.
It’s unclear if Clarke was also in attendance.
Photos have also resurfaced of Edwards, Clarke and Yarbrough at a party together last February, celebrating mutual friend Darren McMullen’s 40th birthday.
Yarbrough and Edwards are seen smiling and standing next to each other in the pictures, while another shows Edwards and Clarke – who are understood to have split the previous December – side-by-side.
Clarke and Yarbrough – who Stefanovic described in an August interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show as “a lovely couple” – went Instagram official in July 2021, during a holiday in Italy.
“[Clarke] had a friend who was her business partner and so they met up and then got together,” Stefanovic said of his sister-in-law’s new relationship.
“We were with them on the weekend and they’re just a lovely couple.”
