One of Australia’s most successful creators on the adult-content platform claimed she’s estranged from her parents because of her career.

Mikaela Testa, one of Australia’s most successful creators on adult-content platform OnlyFans, has revealed she’s estranged from her parents because of her career.

The 22-year-old, who rakes in a whopping $162,000 a month, shared with fans during an Instagram Q&A this week that her choice of revenue stream had come at a price.

“How did your family react to OnlyFans?” one of Testa’s 720,000 followers asked.

To which she claimed: “They disowned me and haven’t spoken to me since.”

Elsewhere in the Q&A Testa found herself in hot water after posting a photo of herself at a gun range in response to a question regarding her favourite thing about America.

The Instagram Story was picked up by watchdog account Influencer Updates Au, which called Testa’s sharing of the image “controversial”.

Several others took offence to the post, which was uploaded just days after the US had yet another mass shooting that left at least nine people dead after a gunman opened fire on a shopping centre in Texas.

Outraged at Testa’s confession in the wake of the horrifying event, one social media user wrote: “I like Mik, but the gun is really insensitive.”

“Best part of America is the guns? There was a mass shooting a few days ago at a shopping mall. Nine killed including children, seven others injured,” a second commented.

“I don’t care if she wants me to die off but promoting guns in America is just idiotic.”

Others tried to defend the influencer, saying she clearly meant the gun range and not gun violence.

“Lmao she obviously meant shooting at a gun range, bro. They do tours, I did it in Bali, Dubai and Hawaii,” one social media user said.

Testa also commented on the post by the influencer watchdog account.

“How is it controversial? I love the shooting ranges and Vegas like … why would I ever be talking about gun violence?” she said.

“We both know whatever I said or did wouldn’t be enough to make y’all happy. I’m not gonna bother deleting or even communicating with anybody that follows this page because we all know why you’re here.”
