Lora Carmichael reveals that her cellulite has helped her earn six figures

A popular creator has revealed how her cellulite and “soft” body has helped her earn a six-figure sum.

Sydney-based adult creator Lora Carmichael has revealed that her cellulite has helped her bring in almost $1 million in the three years she’s been on OnlyFans.

Carmichael, 39, has a self-described “natural” body in 2023, which just means she hasn’t had any plastic surgery to enhance her curves.

The creator explained that one thing she’s learnt from being on the platform is that young men like to see “natural bodies and the way they move”.

She said that her content isn’t always explicit, sometimes it’s just walking around in her regular clothing and doing normal household activities.

“I get a lot of requests for walking because they like to see how the body moves naturally,” she explained.

There’s no denying that there’s never been more pressure for women to look a certain way.

2023 has been the year of celebrities shrinking in front of our eyes, and while the beauty standard in the mid-2000s shifted from rail thin to curvy, it was a very specific kind -big bum, big boobs, flat stomach and tiny waist.

This can result in women who aren’t built like a Bratz doll feeling less confident in their bodies or being worried they are less desirable to the opposite sex, but Carmichael has said that simply isn’t the case.

While she said she was “surprised” that her natural body was so popular on OnlyFans, she said she’s realised that her audience wants to see flaws over perfection.

When I put photos on there, people really want the raw image. They don’t want any editing at all, which can be hard to do sometimes, but you know, I guess now I’m aware that that’s what people are looking for; it makes it easier,” she said.

The creator said that she’s learnt to love her body, especially the things she used to be insecure about, like her “soft stomach” and “cellulite”.

While Carmichael is part of normalising bodies on OnlyFans, she thinks there needs to be a more “natural” representation of women’s bodies in the mainstream media.

“When I watch TV shows like Selling Sunset or The Real Housewives, it’s really fun; everybody’s wearing fabulous outfits, and I just wish there could be more variety in body types there,” she explained.
