Influencer Dylan Mulvaney reveals new face after surgery

An American actress turned influencer has revealed what her new face looks like, after spending weeks in recovery from going under the knife.

One of the world’s biggest influencers, with more than 10 million followers, has revealed her new face.

Dylan Mulvaney rose to popularity with her “days of girlhood” series documenting her life transitioning from male to female on TikTok and garnered 10.5 million followers in the process.

The actress, who was touring in the musical Book Of Mormon prior to the pandemic, stopped posting on TikTok as often after going into surgery for facial feminisation on December 17.

Facial feminisation surgery is one procedure that people transitioning from male to female to undergo to affirm their identity.

It can feature shaving down of the jaw bone and altering the position of the hairline.

However, it is incredibly expensive and, not all those transitioning feel the need to affirm their gender through surgery.

In the time since, Dylan has posted content with her face bandages on, and reshared old content but always kept her new face hidden.

Now, six weeks later, she has made a dramatic return to social media to debut her new face.

In the clip, Dylan wore an amazing tutu with a mechanical skirt that moved up and down like a flower while she danced around like a ballerina.

She also had her classic Hollywood moment, stepping out in a strapless black satin gown, with matching gloves and a set of pearls to take her bow.

After she declared a “wrap” on the debut, Dylan looked at the camera to speak to fans.

“Oh my gosh, hi, I missed you,” Dylan told her followers, after not posting while she recovered from facial surgery to feminise her face.

“You know I have a flair for the dramatics but it’s so good, right?

“I’m so happy and it’s still me, it’s just a little bit softer of a version. I just hope that all trans and non binary people can get the gender affirming resources that they need because this is life changing.”

Dylan added for some, the surgeries to affirm your gender were life saving, as well as thanking everyone who supported her on her journey.

Social media exploded with support for Dylan’s new look.

“You look gorgeous! Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn lowkey,” one person commented on the video.

Another said: “I’m obsessed with this reveal. I don’t know how many times I have watched it. Stunningly beautiful. Much love xx.”

“Oh my goodness! So gorgeous! Best reveal video ever,” another added.

Dylan is known for her grace when it comes to speaking to the people who have chosen to mock her online – with one unidenitifed woman cruelly imitating Dylan, dressing up in fantastical outfits with exaggerated makeup and a drawn-on beard, before stealing the trans star’s well-known tagline detailing what day of her girlhood she is on.

She has also publicly taken on Caitlyn Jenner after the former Olympian slammed Dylan’s actions.
