Aussie fitness star Emily Skye shared a series of snaps showing off her long locks, but it was something else that caught the attention of fans.

If there is one thing you can count on Aussie fitness star Emily Skye doing, it’s sharing “raw and real” content.

The mother-of-two, who is the creator of Emily Skye Fit, boasts a combined Instagram and Facebook following of 12.4 million.

Much of her success and huge social media following is attributed to her honest content – and her latest post was no different.

The 37-year-old shared a series of snaps wearing lose denim jeans, a colourful cropped jacket and rocking a bronzed make-up look.

And while Emily was showing off her long, brown hair, explaining to followers how she was about to undergo a lighter colour, fans couldn’t help but applaud her over one particular photo.

It showed the Queensland fitness star proudly flaunting her abs and loose skin.

“You are absolutely amazing,” one fan wrote.

“I really appreciate you showing how pregnancy changes your body. I have my stretch marks and skin didn’t bounce back and loose but I love all of it even on my low days,” a fellow mum wrote.

One woman described it as “the most beautiful photo” she has ever seen of Emily, while others said their body also looks similar after having children.

“[I] have some loose skin. Appreciate your honesty – it looks fab, and you look great and gives confidence to other women not to hide away the stomach when so much work gone on,” one follower said.

“Such a beautiful and powerful photo,” another added.

The Gold Coast fitness guru, who has a four-year-old daughter, Mia and son Izaac, almost two, often tells her legion of fans how much she loves her belly skin – and why she would never Photoshop it.

“I have never done that and never would. I actually love my belly skin – it reminds of my children and how incredible my body is for what it DOES every single day,” she said in a post from October last year.

“It can be hard sometimes to appreciate it for what it does when we’re constantly focused on how it looks.

“I always practice gratitude for it every day and that has made a huge difference to how I feel about it. I love my body.

Emily, who gave birth to son Izaac in June 2020, has never shied away from revealing the “truth” when it comes to her body.

She purposely posts photos showing her differences, to prove no one is perfect – not even social media influencers.

Emily, who is also the co-owner of James Cosmetics, recently spoke to news.com.au about some of the “hurtful” messages she had from followers about her post-baby body – and wanted to remind women to love themselves and not let anyone negatively influence their relationship with their body.

“RIP fit body, Yuck, Your body is ruined, So much cellulite, Reminds me to never have kids,” were just some of the comments she had received.

“I’ve said this before – I love my body so much and I am grateful for everything it has done for me and my kids,” Emily told news.com.au.

Earlier this year, she said there was a lot of pressure on women to “be everything and to look a certain way”.

“No matter what you see on social media today, tomorrow, next week, next month … do not let it make you feel sh*t about yourself because your belly isn’t washboard flat or your booty isn’t round or you’re not ‘slim thick’.

“How a body shape can be in fashion is beyond me!” Emily went on to say a woman’s body is “amazing” just as it is.
