Australian fitness star Emily Skye has shared a video proudly showing off her “crinkly” skin after being accused of Photoshopping.

The mother-of-two, who boasts 2.5 million Instagram followers, revealed in a post on Wednesday that some of her fans were convinced she had been editing her images.

However, the Gold Coast trainer made it clear she has never done, nor will ever do such a thing.

“I just wanted to jump on and point out something that might be obvious to a lot of you and may not for others,” Emily said in her video.

“I have been accused of many things but lately it’s been Photoshopping out my crinkly skin which is weird because I make a point of showing it.

“I would never Photoshop it out. Never, ever, ever. Never have, never would.”

In the clip, Emily, who is the founder of Emily Skye Fit, posed in front of a mirror wearing a bikini.

She then zoomed in on her belly while standing relaxed.

“You cannot see my wrinkly skin, right? But if I do this, there it is,” she said as she tensed her stomach.

“So it depends on the angle or whether I am flexing, or tensing or twisting. Your body

can change and look different in different photos, lighting, angles and poses.”

Emily continued that she loves her belly skin as it reminds her of her children and how “incredible” her body is for what is does every day.

“It can be hard sometimes to appreciate it for what it does when we’re constantly focused on how it looks. I always practice gratitude for it every day and that has made a huge difference to how I feel about it. I love my body,” she said.

Emily’s video has been viewed half a million times with followers bombarding her post thanking the star for her honesty.

“Always keeping it real Em! I’m proud of my crinkly skin, wearing it like a badge of honour,” one woman commented.

“You shouldn’t even have to explain this to people. You look amazing Mama,” said another.

“I have this too. Like so much loose skin. Oh well got two beautiful boys so gotta love it.”

Emily, who gave birth to son Izaac in June last year, has never shied away from revealing the “truth” when it comes to her body.

The 36-year-old purposely posts photos showing her differences, to prove no one is perfect – not even social media influencers.

She recently spoke to news.com.au about some of the “hurtful” messages she had from followers about her post-baby body – and wanted to remind women to love themselves and not let anyone negatively influence their relationship with their body.

“RIP fit body, Yuck, Your body is ruined, So much cellulite, Reminds me to never have kids,” were just some of the comments she had received.

“I’ve said this before – I love my body so much and I am grateful for everything it has done for me and my kids,” Emily told news.com.au earlier this year.

In June, she shared a series of transformation photos, saying it has taken her almost one year to feel fit again after giving birth to her son.

She said for those who want to feel fit and strong, “You can do it.”

“Don’t doubt yourself! It just takes hard work, commitment and consistency. I believe in you just as I believe in myself. You’ve got this!” Emily wrote in an Instagram post.
