Coles selling real marble table for $49 in new Best Buys homewares range
The supermarket giant is launching a new homewares collection and among the bargains is a marble item that costs less than $50.
Coles is really stepping up its Best Buys game with the launch of a chic homewares range to hit stores on Friday, April 9.
It’s not an area you would normally associate with the supermarket giant, but it’s really giving its rivals, such as Aldi, a run for their money after announcing it will offer a limited-edition range to cater for homeware lovers on a budget.
The new range, developed in collaboration with homewares brand Marketlane, includes more than 30 co-ordinated pieces from faux plants, chic photo frames and prints and scented candles, which start from $6.99.

But perhaps the most impressive is a real marble side table, retailing for just $49.99.
Those who have been on the hunt for something similar will know designer versions can cost more than triple the price.
“The Best Buys range has proven so popular with customers in the past where we’ve seen products like the air fryer, oven and electric blower sell out in just a few days,” a Coles spokesperson told news.com.au.

“We think we’ve got a real winner here with the trendy marble table at such an affordable price which we think customers will love.”
The side table top is sealed with 100 per cent marble and has a sturdy black metal frame.
The retail giant will also be selling an ottoman for $39.99 – and we all know how popular they can be.
The Coles version is a stylish two-tone coloured, fibre ottoman, which requires just a spot clean.

If you want to decorate your home with candles, then you’re in luck, because as part of the limited-edition range, Coles will also be selling vanilla-scented candles, planter pots on wooden legs and set of two ceramic pears – all priced at $6.99.
Plant enthusiasts will also be excited to know they can nab a fiddle leaf plant in a basket for $49.99.
“Our homes have become our havens over the past year so we’re thrilled to be joining forces
with a new and emerging brand, Marketlane, to offer our customers the opportunity to shop
amazing value, on-trend homewares which they’d normally find in a department or homewares
store,” Coles general manager for non-food Jonathan Torr said.
“The range is completely co-ordinated so, as part of their everyday grocery shop, customers
can decorate their homes with pieces they know will work beautifully together.”
However, customers are encouraged to act fast with the collection only be available for a limited time across 200 Coles stores nationwide while stocks last.
