Big W launches its Big Brand sale with $250 off the Dyson V7

If you have always wanted a Dyson vacuum, now would be the time as the budget retailer is slashing a huge 50 per cent off some brands.

If there was ever a time to get your hands on a Dyson it would be now with Big W slashing prices across some of its biggest brands.

The Aussie budget retailer has officially kicked off one of its highly-anticipated events – the two-week long Big Brand sale and if you’ve been itching for the popular Dyson V7 Animal Origin, you better be quick.

The popular vacuum is expected to sell quick with the retailer reducing it from $699 to just $449.

The cordless gadget has a run time of up to 30 minutes and comes with an additional mini-motorised tool designed for removing pet hair and ground-in dirt.

It also has 75 per cent more brush bar power compared to the Dyson V6 Cord-free vacuum.

But if you prefer not vacuuming at all, you can get the iRobot 606 Roomba to do it for you.

It’s been slashed to $399, with a savings of $100. It has a powerful three-stage Cleaning System with Dirt Detect sensors that help find and capture dirt, dust and all types of hair from floors and carpets.

The retailer will also have its Shark Steam Mop for half price at just $99.

Not only can it save your knees from scrubbing the floors yourself, it’s also a great way to avoid harsh chemicals as it just needs water.

The lightweight and manoeuverable item has also got rave reviews online with hundreds of customers leaving positive reviews on Amazon.

For all those in need of a proper night’s sleep, the retailer will have 30 per cent off its Jason weighted blankets – and we all know how precious sleep is.

While the odd bad night’s sleep isn’t harmful, too many nights of insomnia can quickly be detrimental to your health.

In saying that, it’s the reason why weighted blankets have proved so popular, as the “hug effect” it gives users is thought to lower the heart rate as well as increase serotonin and dopamine which can help people nod off easier.

Additional sales include 50 per cent off make-up including Nude by Nature, Nivea, Maybelline, Rimmel London and OLAY and brands such as Decor, Circulon, Tefal, Sunbeam and Sistema are also half price.

The Big Sale is on now until February 24, both in-store and online.
