#homecooked: We're better than Nigella
YESTERDAY, news.com.au asked readers to send in pictures of their cooking after Nigella Lawson admitted her home cooked food didn't look that great. Seems you're a talented lot.
WHO needs a food stylist when cooking at home!
Yesterday, news.com.au put the call out to readers to send in photographs of their home-cooked meals, and it seems you're a talented lot.
You jumped at the chance to send in evidence of your culinary triumphs and disasters after news that celebrity chef Nigella Lawson's home cooking attempts did not always look like those in the cookbooks broke.
Revealed in a series of tweets to her almost 260,000 followers, the British chef lifted the lid on what her home cooking actually looks like - and it was definitely not pretty.
Images of tired-looking eggs and beige-coloured stews occupy her feed, and although some of the dishes look tasty, they present quite a different picture to what appears on her website.
So, we asked you to send us photographs of your food via Twitter and Instagram with the #homecooked hashtag. What followed was everything from a six-layered birthday cake to a near-disastrous barbecue lunch.
