Macca’s announces huge menu change starting from today
A huge change is coming to Macca’s menus, meaning Aussies can score some of the fast-food giant’s most popular items at a discounted price.
Macca’s has announced a huge change to its “Loose Change” menu, meaning Australians can score some of the fast-food giant’s most popular items at a discounted price.
The affordable menu features a selection of the burger giant’s food items sold at a cut-price and is available every single day, including weekends.
Popular deals in recent months have included $1 Frozen Cokes and Fantas, $2 Hamburgers, a$3.50 chicken snack wrap and $1.50 cone with a Flake in it.
Diners have also been able to score a $3.50 small sundae and two hashbrowns for $3.50.
But, now McDonald’s Australia has announced its new look, unveiling the eight new menu Loose Change items on offer, which are all priced under $5.
These include a sausage McMuffin, priced at $4, and the McPops, $2.
Other items include a 50 cent soft serve, in either chocolate or vanilla, $1 small frozen beverages, $2.50 Ham & Cheese Pocket, $3.50 Chicken ‘n’ Cheese, $2 Pies and a $2 Hamburger.
The availability depends of the items depends on the time of day. For instance, McMuffins and Ham & Cheese pockets are only available between 4am and 11.30am.
“We’re very excited to launch our new Loose Change Menu, which will keep you satisfied without blowing the budget,” Tobi Fukushima, manager for McDonald’s Australia, told news.com.au.
“We’re always working hard to bring Macca’s fans more deals and even more ways to save on your favourites every day, from our $6.95 McSmart Meal, $12.95 Big Breakfast Deal, and Macca’s Mega Meal from $16.95, to our Macca’s Bundles to feed the whole family and great offers through the MyMacca’s App.”
Earlier this year, Macca’s added the McSmart Meal to help Australians during the continuing cost-of-living crisis.
The McSmart Meal offers two burgers – a choice between two Cheeseburgers or two Chicken ‘n’ Cheese or one of each – Small Fries and a Small Soft Drink for $6.95 – and “is only available in Australia”.
It comes after many fed-up consumers revealed they were thinking twice about hitting the drive-through or ordering UberEats due to rising cost-of-living pressures.
“We know how much it means to our customers to offer value, and that has never been more important than it is today,” Tobi Fukushima, Marketing Manager for McDonald’s Australia, told news.com.au at the time.
“Customers can now make the smart choice at Macca’s with the McSmart Meal, as part of our ongoing commitment to serving the taste that customers know and love, but with even greater value.”
Australians can access the Loose Change menu from Wednesday either in-store or via the MyMacca’s app.
