Woolworths sells close to 10 million tubs and multipacks of ice cream every months and now a new frozen treat is set to join the ranks.

One major supermarket has announced a brand new frozen treat that is set to change the game.

Woolworths has combined delicious ice cream into the magical shape of a doughnut for its latest creation.

The new ice cream, which landed in stores across the country on March 4, features strawberry and vanilla doughnut-shaped ice creams, coated in white chocolate and topped with sprinkles.

The price tag on the ice creams is $6.

“As we head into the colder months, ice cream sales don’t cool off. Australians’ love affair with the sweet treat continues all year round and we expect to sell a quarter of a million ice cream multi-packs and tubs every day over the autumn to winter months, so this new range has arrived just in time,” Charlotte Murray, Woolworths product developer for freezer, said.

“We’re dedicated to crafting fresh and thrilling products in this space and we know our customers will love this one.”

It comes as Lotus Biscoff ice cream sticks also come back to the supermarket a year after they arrived on shelves for a limited time.

The ice cream comes in a white chocolate and milk chocolate version. TikTok user @AngeEats taste tested the white chocolate version of the treat last year.

“Holy sh*t this is nice, this is absolutely beautiful,” he said after his first bite, before showing his followers the Biscoff layer wedged between the ice cream and the chocolate layers.

“It’s got little pieces of Biscoff on the outside too. It’s kind of like eating a Magnum but biscuit.”

The ice creams retail at $9.50 for a pack of three.

Woolworths sells close to 10 million ice cream tubs and multipacks every month – no matter what time of year it is.

Customers tend to favour multipacks over ice cream tubs.
