Fitness mogul and influencer Tammy Hembrow has announced she’s engaged to boyfriend Matt Poole, following an elaborate proposal that left her “crying”.

Fitness mogul Tammy Hembrow has announced she’s engaged to her partner Matt Poole, following an elaborate proposal that included her two young children.

The Gold Coast influencer revealed the news to her 13.5 million Instagram followers yesterday afternoon, sharing a photo of her stunning oval-cut diamond ring.

The proposal took place on board a rose-filled private yacht, with the 27-year-old sharing photos of her daughter Saskia and son Wolf holding signs saying “Mummy will you” along with a snap of her and Matt kissing.

“I’M IN SHOCK honestly have not been able to stop crying happy tears. Yes yes yes my love,” the caption read.

Tammy flaunted her famous curves in a khaki triangle bikini top and matching skirt.

Matt also announced the engagement on his Instagram, writing “YES” alongside a diamond ring emoji and a loved-up photo of the couple.

Tammy’s whole family were “waiting at the dock when we got back”, she shared on her Instagram stories, describing it as “honestly the most perfect day”.

She was previously engaged to fellow influencer Reece Walker – who she shares Wolf and Saskia with. The pair made headlines in 2018 when they called off their engagement after four years of dating.

Tammy and Matt, a restaurateur and former ironman, have been together since 2020, with the star praising him earlier this year for “stepping up” as a father-figure to her children.

“You may not be their father by blood but the bond you might have with my babies is something else,” she wrote in the tribute.

She recently revealed that the couple want to have a baby of their own together, sharing on Instagram a screenshot of a message exchange between them discussing their family plans.

Messaging about how they were ordering oysters for dinner, Matt joked that he wanted both “oysters and a baby”.

“Told you he wants one guys,” Tammy wrote over the exchange.
