Tiffiny Hall reveals struggle to fit into jeans in real Instagram post

It looks like just another perfect Instagram image — but the former Biggest Loser coach has been praised for sharing a “real” photo.

Tiffiny Hall might have one of the most famous six packs in the fitness industry but it turns out even she has days where she feels a little off.

The 36-year-old shared her frustration at being unable to fit into a pair of jeans in a post on Instagram, admitting she had been a “little bummed”.

In the post Tiffiny shared two photos; one of her showing off her abs in activewear, while in the other she was struggling to get her pants on.

“Reality check: Some days you just don‘t fit your jeans, and that’s okay!” she wrote in the caption.

“As you can see in the photo on the right, I was a little bummed that I couldn‘t fit comfortably into my fave pair that day (spoiler: it took ample squeezing, but we got there!).”

But despite her frustration in the second photo Tiffiny said she still loved her body, understanding that “even as a professional trainer, my body fluctuates a little in weight, definition and shape”.

The two photos were taken across a one month period during which Tiffiny had vastly different days, from ones with “killer training sessions” to ones where she ”over-snacked” and “felt crippled by stress”.

“What I’m trying to say is, sometimes you wake up and the mirror tells you that you’ve made progress, sometimes the muscle definition you swear was there a few days earlier has gone MIA,” Tiffiny wrote.

“There are many contributors to this – period pain, stress, sleep deprivation, food intolerances, dehydration, hormones, big family dinners, alcohol, the list goes on!”

Tiffiny said she had learnt to accept the fluctuations in her body by practising mindfulness and sharing her experience with others.

“Be kind to yourself, listen to your body and don‘t sweat the small stuff – you’re beautiful,” she wrote.

Tiffiny’s post attracted hundreds of comments, with her follower’s praising her for sharing such an honest message.

“I absolutely needed to hear this today – thank you for being so open and amazing,” one person wrote.

“It’s good to know that you have the same struggles as we do. Thanks for keeping it real,” another added in the comments.

Tiffiny rose to fame appearing on the reboot of Gladiators as Angel in 2008, before going on to be a weight loss coach on The Biggest Loser.

Tiffiny married comedian Ed Kavalee in 2014, with the couple welcoming a son Arnold in 2017.

Throughout her pregnancy Tiffiny shared frequent updates on the changes to her body, revealing she had gained 30 kilos.

She also refused to “bounce back” after giving birth, telling news.com.au last year she felt “stronger than ever” and decided to “bounce forward” instead.

“To be honest, I didn’t want to bounce back after having a baby,” she said.

“Crash dieting and the damage it can have on the body and emotional and mental wellbeing is not good for new mums.”

Instead Tiffiny decided to take things “very slow” in her recovery after work, something she admits could have hurt her fitness brand.

“It could have damaged my business because it changed my image and all that. But I didn’t care. I wanted to rehab my body after the trauma of birth properly,” she said.

“It was never about the bikini body for me. It was about loving my baby body, and yeah, I’ve got loose skin on my stomach, and it will never be the same again. I’ve got wider hips, and I’ve got stretch marks.

“My body has changed, but I am stronger now, I have better abdominal muscles and a better core and pelvic floor than I did before I had the baby because I took it slow.”
