Influencer shares bikini trick that makes swimmers look ‘amazing’

A Gold Coast influencer shared a simple trick to “dramatically change” how your swimsuit sits – and women are loving how it looks.

Revealing upside down bikini trend takes over social media

It can sometimes be too easy to compare yourself to perfect looking models in bikinis on Instagram – but one influencer has shared how a simple trick can make your swimsuit look completely different.

Body positivity campaigner and bikini designer Karina Irby shared in an Instagram post how the styling of your two-piece can “dramatically change” how it sits on your body.

The Gold Coast woman shared side-by-side pictures of her wearing the same pink bikini, except in one photo she wore her bottoms low around her hips while the other saw them pulled high to accentuate her waist.

“Notice how by changing the styling of your bikini bottom it can dramatically change the appearance of your body?” Karina said in the caption.
“Keep that in mind next time you’re looking at other Queens showing off their bikini bodies.”

The bikini designer said there was “no right or wrong way to wear your bikini” and it was up to you to decide how you preferred it.

“Personally … I’m a high-waisted gal!” Karina said.

The post got more than 42,000 likes and hundreds of comments praising “gorgeous” Karina and her message.

“Thank you for sharing this,” one person wrote.

“Amazing … either way so inspirational,” one follower commented. “Thank you, for just being who you are. Your truly just what I needed on my HEALTHY weight-loss journey.”

“Switching to high-rise changed my bikini confidence,” another commented.

Karina has more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, using her account to promote her company Moana Bikini as well as promote body positivity.

But her posts are sometimes attacked by trolls who take aim at her appearance, with Karina revealing earlier this month some of the nasty comments she has received.

Trolls accused her of promoting an “unhealthy lifestyle” and having “cellulite because you have no muscle and too much fat” after she posted unedited photos of her thighs and bottom.

In an Instagram post addressing their comments, Karina said was “concerning” to see the number of responses she got about cellulite.

“The fittest women on the planet have cellulite,” she wrote in the caption.
“The problem is SO many people cover up, or edit out their gorgeous, sexy lady lumps!”
