Brooke Shields shows off her toned figure in patriotic bikini
On nearly every bikini selfie she shares with her 1 million Instagram followers, Brooke Shields is almost always asked about her “secret”.
Brooke Shields fans will be quick to tell you how “amazing” the star looks, with many bombarding the 55 year-old’s bikini snaps with questions over her “youthful secret”.
And the mother of two has turned heads again with a patriotic bikini snap posted over Independence Day weekend.
The Suddenly Susan star, who has been enjoying lockdown with her husband Chris Henchy, 56, and their daughters, Rowan, 17, and Grier, 14, was photographed wearing a patriotic bikini as she treated herself to a dip in her Hamptoms home swimming pool.

Shields opted for a blue-starred bikini top and red stripy bottoms which showed off her strong body.
Smiling directly into the camera, Shields paired the look with a simple gold necklace with her hair slicked back as she made her way out of the water.
The model and actress continues to leave fans in awe, with nearly every bikini snap she shares on Instagram garnering a huge reaction.
“Still got it,” one fan commented on a selfie she shared wearing a bright orange swimsuit.
“Question. Where did you find the fountain of youth?” another asked.
“Brooke at 55 you have the most gorgeous body,” a third said.
“You are the essence of perfection for a woman who might be 55 but looks like she is 25!!!!”
“You look amazing. Please share your secret,” the comments continued.
Talking to InStyle in May, Shields revealed how she took up meditation for the first time while in quarantine.
“None of the exercising I’ve done in the past has stemmed from me loving it, or from it giving me any peace of mind,” she told the publication.
“When I was younger, it was all ego-based: If you want to be in this campaign, you have to stay fit. If you want to be in this Broadway show, you have to be this fit; you have to dance this much every day.”
However, her approach to her fitness and health is very different today.
While also doing at-home weights-based training, Shields said she has signed up for “a live-streaming meditation led by Deepak Chopra on Facebook”.
“My family made fun of me, saying, ‘Oh, Mom is going to get all Zen now’.”
She went on to explain how she had a fitness-related breakthrough with the newly-learned skills.
“Before that, I’d never focused on the spiritual element of exercise or the idea of honouring your body and soul. Those were just words before; they didn’t feel realistic.”
She added that “working out has never been Zen” for her, as “everything was a goal” when it came to her motivation.
