Sydney stylist Tina Abeysekara says every woman needs these $20 Kmart jeans
Women are raving about the bargain denim, saying they look similar to a $200 designer pair and also “fit perfectly”.
With summer now well and truly over, it’s time to start sorting out your wardrobe for the cooler months.
But unlike last year when lockdown meant trackpants were the acceptable outfit for every occasion, this year jeans might be a more versatile choice.
While some designer jeans will set you back upwards of $100 a pop, Kmart has a pair that fashionistas have been raving about – and they cost just $20.

Trash To Treasured’s Tina Abeysekara posted about Kmart’s Super High Rise Straight Jeans on Instagram this week, saying they were one of her “affordable classics”.
In an Instagram Reel, Tina explained they had a “little bit of stretch”, making them the perfect pair for everyday wear.
“Stayed comfy all day! Meetings and then I went out for a cheeky drink in them,” she said in the comments.
@i_heart_kmart’s Helen James is also a fan, commenting: “I love these jeans! Have worn them to death!”

Other shoppers agreed, writing on Instagram that they couldn’t believe the jeans were from Kmart.
“Unreal. The jeans look like jeans I spent $200 on! Rushing to Kmart!” one person wrote.
“Seriously one of the BEST pairs of jeans I own,” another said. “They fit perfectly and feel great and seriously, $20? Bargain!”
Others they couldn’t believe the jeans were “such good quality for $20”, while one person joked: “Runs to Kmart.”

Kmart’s Super High Rise Straight Jeans come in three different shades of denim – mid wash, light wash and indigo wash.
Made from 99 per cent cotton and one per cent elastane, they are available in sizes six to 20.
It’s not the first time a pair of Kmart jeans have sparked a frenzy: Last year the store’s $25 Skinny Extra High Rise “feel-good” jeans became a cult item.
One shopper said they were better quality than expensive jeans and would also “shape and contour” your legs.
“Seriously they are nicer than my Just Jeans ones,” Meg Chilcott told news.com.au.
“The price, the high waist. They don’t feel uncomfortable like jeans can, don’t dig in. Just love them.”
