Kmart $28 dress goes viral for flattering shape

At just $28 the floral dress has sold out with “lightning speed” in stores, with shoppers saying they “can’t believe” it’s from Kmart.

With summer just around the corner now most of us are on the hunt for that often-elusive item of clothing: the perfect floral dress.

While there are plenty of summer dresses on the market, it’s a $28 design from Kmart that is selling out in “lightning speed” because of its flattering design and very affordable price tag.

Trash to Treasured’s Tina Abeysekara’s posted about the dress on Instagram, saying that the white and orange floral print frock was perfect for the months ahead.

Wearing the dress for a “day of meetings and WFH” the fashion blogger said the dress was “cute and comfy enough for both”.

It wasn’t sheer and had plenty of stretch in the shirring and sleeves, she also said.

Plenty of other Kmart fans agreed, saying the dress was a “bargain” and ultra flattering.

“I purchased this dress today and I love it!” one person commented on Tina’s post.

“I cannot believe this dress is Kmart,” a shopper wrote, while another added: “Got that last week. Can’t believe the quality. Nice, thick fabric!”

Others warned the dress was flying out of stores and to get in quick.

“These sold out at lightning speed in stores as expected! Had to buy online,” one person wrote.

It’s not the only Kmart dress that female shoppers have fallen in love with this season, with a $25 linen blend dress also fast becoming a cult summer favourite.

The fuchsia dress features a drop shoulder design and cinches in at the waist for a flattering look.

Fashion blogger Luxe and Lemonade posted a shot of her wearing the dress on her Instagram, pairing it with a $20 straw handbag also from Kmart.

“Bravo @kmartaus,” Dani captioned the photo, with her followers also agreeing and commenting that the look was “beautiful”.

“How gorgeous is this colour!!!! Kmart you are the best,” one person wrote, while another added: “Oh this dress looks so amazing!!!!”
