$20 Kmart item Instagram users raving about

It’s the affordable new item Kmart that’s just landed in stores which has shoppers comparing it to the likes of high-end brands.

When it comes to nabbing an affordable yet stylish buy, Kmart knows just how to deliver.

Shoppers have taken to social media to boast about the Aussie retailer’s latest Summer buy, a $20 linen skirt they have compared to high-end brands.

“Fell in love with this new Kmart swing maxi skirt $20, it feels very ‘Country Road’ to me,” fashion blogger Amanda Shannon, of She Wore it With, wrote on Instagram.

“A good luxe weight to it and it pairs well with the $15 sleeveless tie top. Picnic anyone?”

She shared an image posing in the stylish linen-blend maxi skirt which she paired with button-down top also from the retailer.

“Ooo this is gorgeous,” one follower commented.

“Very casual luxe,” wrote another, while a third said, “Love the all-white look!”

Fellow fashion blogger Dee Waters also took to Instagram to praise her affordable, new buy.

“This lovely linen blend skirt from Kmart is nice & light for the 30+ heat we are having right now!!” she captioned her snap.

Dee matched the white skirt with a $15 light blue Turn Back Tank from Cotton On, $15 brown sandals from Target and same-coloured Seagrass tote bag also from Kmart.

Her entire outfit, including $4 Kmart hoop earrings, cost just under $85.

“Love this look! So perfect for summer,” one follower commented.

“You look gorgeous,” added another.

The relaxed fitting garment is available in sizes six to 20 – but it’s not the only linen item to have caused a frenzy.

Last month, the retailer’s $20 pants also took off with influencers and shoppers alike raving about the breezy linen-blend item on Instagram.

Affordable fashion stylist and influencer @trashtotreasured’s Tina Abeysekara shared a post wearing the wide-legged pants in cream and bronze palm print.

Describing them as “comfy to wear around the house” Tina said she was “super impressed” with the fit and they weren’t sheer like other linen items.

@i_heart_kmart’s Helen James also sported the pants in a post last week, saying the green plaid print was perfect for work.

“They also look great with a black cami and blazer or a white tee and denim jacket on the weekend,” she wrote.

Other Kmart shoppers also raved about them on Instagram, saying they were “good value” and “so comfy”.

Shoppers across Australia can purchase both the linen skirt and pants in-store or online.
