Afterpay Australian Fashion Week day 2: Best celebrity looks
Model Imogen Anthony made a statement at day two of Australian Fashion Week, wearing an unusual outfit that captured attention.
Some of Australia’s biggest stars have pulled on their fanciest outfits to attend day two of Fashion Week.
TV presenter Sonia Kruger stunned at the Mariam Seddiq runway show on Tuesday night in a white dress with structured shoulders that cinched in at the waist.
The 56-year-old rocked the retro inspired look, that featured splashes of neon colours, with a hot pink clutch bag and clear shoes.
Sonia, who is currently presenting the latest season of Big Brother Australia, finished her chic ensemble with an array of jewellery – including stacked rings and hoop earrings.
Fashion royalty Phoebe Burgess was also in attendance, wearing not one but two different outfits throughout the day.
The mum-of-two went for a “layered look” to attend the Oroton show first thing in the morning.
Her matching pants, blouse and coat were all from womenswear brand Lee Matthews, while she opted for bright green Balenciaga heels and clutch for accessories.
Later in the day Phoebe reappeared in an all black ensemble by Matteau for the swim and resortwear designer’s show.
The former journalist turned influencer flashed her midriff in the black suit set and tied her signature blonde bob into a sleek ponytail.
A slew of MAFS stars were also out in force, including the 2022 season’s besties Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding.
The pair opted for similar navy blue outfits, with Dom wearing pants and a blazer as Ella opted for a denim shirt dress.
Ella accessorised her outfit with green chunky slides and a small handbag, while Dom went for matching Gucci heels and bag.
Gold Coast MAFS bride Tamara Djordjevic was in town for the fashion festivities, wearing a skimpy black dress from Deluxe Designer Hire. Controversially, she also appears to have worn a real fur coat, tagging Fur by Sofia in her outfit post on Instagram, an outlet that sells everything from Chinchilla to Stable Fur.
Selin Mengu was also in attendance wearing a two-piece knitwear set comprised of a midi length skirt and bra. She also wore a white coat over her shoulders to keep warm in the chilly autumn weather.
Selin shared a photo posing with controversial influencer Jade Tuncdoruk who was widely criticised at the start of the year for an insensitive rant about her Uber Eats delivery rider as well as a “tone deaf” brag after leveraging her platform to make an Australian business give her a refund she wasn’t entitled to.
One of the more unusual outfits from the day came from model Imogen Anthony who wore a unique ensemble made up of a bra, corset and unbuttoned jeans.
The former girlfriend of radio host Kyle Sandilands wore a denim bra with a black laced corset and ripped jeans. The denim was adorned with writing in black marker, which Imogen described as “reworked vintage” on her socials.
She finished her look with a pair of stiletto boots and futuristic sunglasses.
