Most women understand the struggle of finding the perfect shapewear – between searching for comfort, quality, and affordability, investing in the right bodysuit can feel like an uphill battle.

That’s where TikTok creator Kathryn Mueller comes in – as reported by The Sun, the dental student uses the platform to share activewear reviews.

In her most recent, Mueller shared an honest review of SKIMS’ best-selling Sculpting Thong Bodysuit, which retails for $A87, in a size medium.

Created by Kim Kardashian, the bodysuit promises to be waist-cinching, supportive, and sculpting, and is beloved on the internet.

But Mueller pointed out a fatal flaw.

“No one mentioned this. This bodysuit is literally painful,” she said.

“First of all, we put the cotton pads in,” she explained, noting that the bodysuit is sheer.

Pointing out the seams cutting into her hip, she commented: “I am on the smaller end of the small/medium size range.”

“Like, I’ve only been wearing this for a couple of minutes and it is so uncomfortable.”

Mueller showed off the marks on her hips as a result of the bodysuit’s tight seams.

“It’s only a matter of time before I get some serious red marks,” she noted.

Mueller then took off the shapewear to demonstrate its stretchiness.

“But these little seams at the bottom? They get really tight at full stretch,” she said.

TikTok users were thrilled to see an honest SKIMS review.

“Finally, a full review aside from ‘RUN AND GET THIS BODYSUIT’ with a 2 second clip of them looking snatched … Like girl, I know that hurts,” one user said.

“Finally … a more detailed review!” another user agreed.

“I have a long torso and I’m always assessing the seams.”
