Woolworths selling Vittoria coffee advent calendar for $15
Christmas is arguably for the kids – but Woolworths has ensured there’s something for grown ups too with an item perfect for the sleep-deprived.
Advent calendars are becoming increasingly elaborate.
From offerings filled with beauty goodies or foodie options for cheese lovers, to “adult only” boozy creations and ones stuffed with sex toys – whatever your poison, you can pretty much guarantee you can find it in advent calendar form.
But sometimes all you want is to go back to the simple pleasures in life, such as a morning cup of coffee to help set you up for the day.
Which is why Australian coffee company Vittoria have released an advent calendar containing 25 different Nespresso compatible capsules to bring you a delicious cup of caffeine every morning in the lead up to Christmas.

Behind each window in the calendar is an arabica coffee capsule from Woolworths range of Vittoria coffee – amounting to 25 cups of coffee in total, perfect for the tired among us.
The range contains 18 locally roasted blends and single origins and are in recyclable aluminium caps – so you can enjoy your morning brew guilt-free.
As well as being a pretty reasonable $14.99 this week as part of the supermarket’s weekly specials – down from its retail price of $20 – Vittoria will also donate money from sales of its capsule coffee towards OzHarvest to help eliminate food waste and feed vulnerable Australians.
The coffee company donates $1 per kilo sold on any Vittoria product from the entire range of aluminium capsules to the food charity, which enables OzHarvest to deliver two meals to people in need.
It’s not the only exciting Christmas item Woolworths has announced lately, with the retailer recently rolling out a new range of Australian-made Christmas products filled in a bid to support local producers and suppliers in the aftermath of the bushfire crisis, coronavirus and the drought.
A string of other festive products hit shelves across the country on November 9, including a “Triple Cream Brie Wreath” for $15, a 3D Gummy Block Train for $5 and a Gold Dulce De Leche Trifle for $20.
There’s also a new “Christmas Gold” range which features 23 different baker items that showcase native ingredients such as lemon myrtle, wattleseed, davidson plum and riberry.
“We’re particularly excited about the new Gold bakery range that uses native botanicals to create new flavours to entertain family and friends this year,” Woolworths Food Company Managing Director Guy Brent.
“Our research shows most customers are more likely to shop with retailers that use Australian native ingredients, and we expect this trend will continue to grow,” he added.
“We already offer 100 per cent fresh Aussie meat and 96 per cent of our fresh fruit and vegetables are grown on Australian farms. We’re thrilled to add an entire new range to help make an Aussie-made Christmas more accessible for customers around the country.”
