The man (pictured, right) who brought us the Kardashian Kollection as well as celebrity lines from Kelly Osbourne, Priscilla Presley, Delta Goodrem and Janet Jackson said that he wants to take Brunsdon’s brand to the rest of the world.

Brunsdon was stocked in high-end US department stores Neiman Marcus and Barneys pre-GFC, but hasn’t had a strong international presence since.

“Bruno contacted us and wanted to know if we were selling internationally,” Brunsdon says.

“We pared back following the GFC but we’d love to again. He wanted to create more lines — childrenswear in particular — and we’d just had a baby so we were really interested.”

The range, for babies and children, is due to launch early next year.

PASSION PROJECT HAS SIGNATURE STYLE

MONOGRAMMING has become the fashion alternative to Dymo label writers and it’s a trend being embraced by more and more Sydney women.

So much so that lawyer Alyce Tran has turned the small side project she started in September into a fully fledged leather brand and monogramming service, The Daily Edited.

“We’re putting in more infrastructures,” she said. “We used to monogram only twice a week but now we’ve got the presses going full bore 9-5 every day. It’s a passion project but it’s taking over my life a little bit.” thedailyedited.com.
