Bubble O’ Bill and Paddle Pop adopted by jewellery brand for 54-piece collection
An unexpected collaboration between two iconic brands will have Aussies wearing Bubble O’ Bill and Paddle Pop.
A playful collaboration between two unsuspecting brands will leave Aussies wearing their favourite ice cream in more places than just around their mouth.
Jewellery brand Couture Kingdom and Streets’ ice creams Bubble O’ Bill and Paddle Pop have paired up to launch a line of trendy nostalgic pieces in time for Christmas.
The ultimate dream team developed a 54-piece collection including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, cufflinks and rings, all themed in either Bubble O’ Bill or Paddle Pop colours.
The Bubble O’ Bill range, named Pastel Cowboy, consists of 30 pieces, while Paddle Pop’s range, Rainbow Safari, has 24.
Each item is gold-plated and crafted with a high-shine finish in either white or yellow gold.
The Paddle pop range will also feature a set of earrings inspired by the ice cream’s Lick-A-Prize promotion, as well as Max the Lion.
“As huge fans of these iconic Aussie ice creams, it has been an incredible honour for us here at Couture Kingdom to create this collection,” Couture Kingdom chief creative officer Karen Ridikas said.
“Our Couture Kingdom fans have (as have we) grown up with the flavours of both Bubble O’ Bill and Paddle Pop and are avid collectors of pure nostalgic pop-culture accessories.
“For us it was all about delivering a fun, easy to wear collection that evokes the feelings of childhood summers that you can add to your everyday style no matter how old you are now.”
Streets’ parent company Unilever’s Australia marketing manager Annie Lucchitti said it was exciting to see two iconic ice creams come to life in “fashionable couture”.
“Each piece in this extensive range features exquisite and intricate designs and details – Couture Kingdom has truly captured the pastel beauty of Bubble O’ Bill and a vibrant rainbow feel for Paddle Pop,” she said.
The collection, priced between $25 and $89, can be snapped up direct from the Couture Kingdom website, Bevilles Jewellers and some independent jewellery stores across the country.
