MAFS star spotted after cosmetic surgery

A former Married At First Sight star has been spotted returning from Turkey with her face covered in bandages.

Married At First Sight star Amy Kenyon has been pictured bloodied and bandaged after a secret face operation.

The 28-year-old, who appeared on the last series of the UK version of the reality show, made the shock decision to fly to Turkey for surgery after being so badly trolled she felt she had no other choice.

In her heartbreaking first interview, a very emotional Ms Kenyon revealed how much she struggled since appearing on TV and desperate to feel better about herself, she went under the knife, The Sun reported.

Ms Kenyon, who married Luke Debono during the experiment, received hundreds, if not thousands of cruel messages about her appearance, which over the series wore her down and left her feeling a shell of her former self.

Breaking down in tears she told The Sun: “My insecurities are just through the roof. I’m so sad. It’s been very rough.

“On just one post I had more than three hundred people just saying absolutely disgusting things about me, going in about my jaw.

“I’ve got no filler in my jaw, what can I do about it? And I don’t know, when I saw that, it just sort of made me feel like I need to do something about this.”

She added: “I know I’m going to get absolutely trolled to death again, I’m petrified about people finding out about my surgery, but what else could I do?”

Ms Kenyon flew to Istanbul to have canthopexy – a surgical procedure that tightens the outer corner of the lower eyelid.

She also had her breasts redone, after having her previous implants in for over ten years.

The stunning blonde says she felt amazing while filming the show – that the crew helped her feel more beautiful than she ever had before.

But as soon as her first episode aired, things went very down hill.

“Every time I went online I kept seeing screenshots of myself on TV. During MAFS, I had really big lips and when I was on TV, I was getting trolled,” she said.

“Everyone was calling me fake, saying really nasty things about me, calling me a man, saying I look 60.”

Ms Kenyon attempted to change her appearance for the reunion show and had her lips dissolved. She thought that meant she wouldn’t be a target.

“And then I went back on Facebook again, because it had all died down and I accidentally came across this post – this girl had screenshotted an image of me from the TV pulling a funny face and the comments on it were just awful,” she said.

“People tell you to ignore it and just take it but when you’ve got hundreds and hundreds of people commenting about your appearance, it’s obviously going to make you feel s**t about yourself. You can’t ignore it.”

Ms Kenyon is hoping her new eye shape will stop the trolling, but she warns she’ll get her chin done next if it continues.

She has been undergoing cognitive behaviour therapy since being on MAFS and is desperate to feel better in herself.

Ms Kenyon tied the knot with Luke on the most recent series of Married At First Sight UK before she dumped him during the vow renewal ceremony after he made some shocking comments.

At the end of the series, after a rocky time during the experiment, Ms Kenyon made her feelings clear when she arrived at the vow renewal dressed for funeral.

She savagely told Luke: “I know my worth and you aren’t worthy of me. This marriage is done, dead, deceased.

“I stand here in front of you today wearing black to mourn its death. RIP.”

She was later linked to another groom – Adam Nightingale – but insists the pair were always just friends.
