The Block judge Darren Palmer buys stunning new $3.85 Byron Bay home
The Block judge and interior designer star Darren Palmer has shelled out big bucks to live in one of the most sought-after areas in the country.
The Block judge and interior designer Darren Palmer and his partner, cosmetics businessman Olivier Duvillard, are the latest to join the Byron Bay ranks.
They’ve opted for the quieter Suffolk Park over the bustling town, spending $3.85 million on a chic home just 100 metres from Tallow Beach.
Complete with saltwater pool, overlooked by a timber entertaining space in tropical gardens, the two-level home sits on 720 sqm. It backs onto bushland, with a path to the beach from the back gate.
It has four bedrooms, all located upstairs. Three have access to its wrap around balcony. The dining and family area opens to the alfresco entertaining space.
The home sold through McGrath Byron Bay agents Ian Daniels and Susan Whyte.

The late 1980s home last sold for $770,000 in 2005, with the pool added just a few years ago. There are plans in place for a further extension and renovation.
Palmer and Dullivard celebrated their 11 year anniversary together in the new year while in Byron. Palmer posted to his 192,000 Instagram followers posing against a palm tree at the beach, as did Dullivard.
Palmer joins fellow Channel 9 The Block judge Shelley Craft who’s permanently based there. As is former contestant Brad Cranfield who’s now an estate agent in the town.
There was talk last year that the renovation show would be based there this year, but they couldn’t get enough adjoining neighbours to sell.
Palmer and Dullivard are based in Bondi Beach in a home bought for $2.98 million in 2015, when the couple were moving from Edgecliff.
