Chris Hemsworth buys Paul Hogan's Malibu home
PAUL Hogan has sold one of his LA properties to fellow Aussie and Hollywood heartthrob Chris Hemsworth, making a very tidy profit.
HOLLYWOOD heroes Thor and Crocodile Dundee never clashed on the big screen but in real life the Aussie actors have now exchanged real estate.
Seasoned actor Paul Hogan has sold his Malibu residence to 30-year-old heartthrob, Chris Hemsworth and his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky for $5 million.
Hogan and his wife Linda Kozlowski bought the property last year for $4 million, just after the Aussie star settled his multi-million dollar score with the ATO.
While Hemsworth's little brother Liam reels from the very public break up with his twerking fiance Miley Cyrus, big brother Chris is settling down in LA with his wife and family.
The five-bedroom house is in the celebrity neighbourhood of Point Dume.
The original asking price just a few months ago was about $5.1 million but a sluggish US real estate market meant the Hogan-Koslowskis needed to take a price cut.

The couple also listed another palatial Malibu house early last year for $6.7 million, which according to their US real estate agents, The Levin Group was sold at the asking price.
The 1992 Victorian-style new home to the Hemsworths has contemporary interiors including a stainless steel kitchen with marble inlaid floors, a formal living room with fireplace, library, six bathrooms, a trellis-shaded brick terrace that runs along the back of the house with views of the Pacific Ocean.
Although the LA pad doesn't appear to have a swimming pool, it does have a self-contained two-storey guesthouse, perfect for Chris' little brother Liam and his new love, Mexican model Eiza González.
Hemsworth the Elder was also spotted earlier this year househunting in trendy Knotting Hill, London.
In July last year Trulia reported that the real estate power couple bought the pad for $US3.8 million after listing another palatial Malibu home in February 2012 for $US6.475.
Hogan was recently honoured as an Australian icon at the 10th anniversary of the G'Day USA gala in the US for his impact on Australian tourism.
