And Just Like That Season 2 premiere date and poster revealed
Fans reacted with excitement to a new poster for season two of the SATC reboot. But one major character appears to be missing from the line-up.
And just like that, we have an official premiere date!
The second season of the hit Sex And The City spin-off, And Just Like That, premieres on June 22, Binge confirmed this morning.
The new chapter sees fan favourites Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis return as their respective characters, Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York Goldenblatt, as they continue to navigate life and friendship in their 50s.
Binge has also released a new poster for the new season, which features the original stars and the ensemble cast gathered around a dinner table with the tagline: “New beginnings are in season.”
In the poster, stars Sara Ramirez (as Che Diaz), Sarita Choudhury (as Seema Patel), Karen Pittman (as Dr Nya Wallace) and Nicole Ari Parker (as Lisa Todd) are all shown seated around the table.
But one character from the original series and the reboot was nowhere to be seen.

David Eigenberg, who plays Miranda’s husband Steve Brady, does not appear in the poster, causing fans to wonder if he even stars in the upcoming season.
Given the first season ended with Miranda making the decision to leave Steve and New York for a life in LA with her new love interest, Che, the future of the loveable bartender remains to be seen.
If there’s anyone more excited over today’s announcement than diehard fans, it’s series star Sarah Jessica Parker.
“Season 2 of #AndJustLikeThat premieres June 22,” she wrote on Instagram. “Consider this your official invitation. And plus-1s (or 2s, 3s, 4s …) are all welcome here. Hope you’re hungry.”
The premiere date and new poster comes after Parker debuted the trailer for Season 2 on her Instagram page at the end of April.
The trailer opened with Parker, in character as Carrie, saying: “No matter what life hands you, you can always count on your closest friends to be there.”
The clip then showed the return of a familiar face, with John Corbett’s character Aidan Shaw approaching Carrie’s famous New York apartment.
Aidan was Carrie’s great love on the series, before she ultimately chose Mr Big (played Chris Noth).
However, after Big’s shock death in Season 1, it paves the way for a Carrie and Aidan reunion.
“And just like that, I realised some things are better left in the past, but maybe not everything,” Carrie also said in the trailer.
