The Bachelorette 2020: Pascal Wallace comes out swinging against the show

Booted Bachelorette contestant Pascal Wallace has come out swinging against his portrayal in Thursday night’s explosive episode.

The 33-year-old from NSW was kicked out of the mansion after a heated confrontation with sisters Elly and Becky Miles, who were furious after hearing he’d been talking about them unfavourably behind their backs.

During the episode, fellow contestant Aggie Guardiani told the Bachelorette duo Pascal questioned why Channel Ten hadn’t picked “better looking” women.

The Miles sisters wasted no time in approaching the healthcare CEO, promptly sending him packing despite his insistence he had said nothing of the sort.

‘We’ve heard that you’ve been basically questioning Elly and myself, saying things like, “Oh, you know what? They could have picked, like, better looking chicks,”’ Becky, 30, fumed.

Following the episode, Pascal posted a series of videos to his Instagram account revealing what really went down behind-the-scenes.

He captioned the clip: “Ahhhh what an edit, I’m an easy target what can I say, not who I am.

“Thanks for the experience Channel 10 and sorry to the girls if what I apparently said made you feel anything negative, never my intention. Spread love not hate.

“Good luck, hope you both find love,” he concluded.

He assured followers his portrayal on the show was not “who he is as a person”.

“I feel like I need to defend my position, it’s not how I feel about the girls and the way I am going to be portrayed on national television is not who I am as a person,” he began.

“Elly and Becky were fun beautiful girls, wholesome good to be round, which is how I always felt.”

He continued: “The comment Aggie (Guardiani) said I made about the girls not being hot enough simply just didn’t happen.”

During the episode, viewers watched as Pascal rejected their claims, telling them: “I have said none of these comments. You are basing this on hearsay.”

Unfortunately for Pascal, the sisters were convinced he was “lying through his teeth”.

‘”I’m not buying what you’re saying. I just think it’s time for you to leave,” said Becky.

The physiotherapist also revealed in his post today that he had already spoken to producers about an exit strategy prior to being booted.

“I had chatted to the producers about wanting to leave and get back to my business,” he said. “And, I wasn’t really feeling it with Elly.”

He said while he felt a “physical” connection to the former Bachelor contestant, he didn’t see an emotional one.

News.com.au has reached out to Ten to comment on his claims.

The Bachelorette continues next Wednesday from 7.30pm on Channel 10.
