‘I was emotionally broken’: Ali slams ex

AHEAD of her debut as this year’s Bachelorette, Ali has again blasted her ex this time revealing how his cheating claims left her in a dark place.

THE split between Ali Oetjen and Grant Kemp keeps getting uglier, with this year’s Bachelorette again slamming her ex in a new interview.

Speaking to NW magazine, Oetjen said Kemp’s claims she cheated on him left her “physically, mentally and emotionally broken”.

After meeting on Bachelor in Paradise in 2017, Kemp and Oetjen split abruptly earlier this year.

Kemp later claimed he had dumped Oetjen after catching another man “going down” on her in his Los Angeles home.

While Oetjen has not denied his claims, she told NW Kemp was the ex “who just won’t go away”.

“Definitely without a doubt, Grant was a waste of my time. He just wasn’t the person he said he was. And yes, it was disappointing and crushing, but I learnt from this,” Oetjen said.

But despite her heartbreak, Oetjen said she had been ready to find love again on The Bachelorette this year.

“I was more than ready. I wouldn’t have done it if I wasn’t. I wrote lists of what I was looking for, and was in a very clear and focused head space because I was not going to let anyone taint my view on what I was looking for,” she said.

Last month, Kemp told The Kyle and Jackie O Show he had proof Oetjen was unfaithful to him.

“I literally have legal proof, I have the text messages,” he said.

“I have all the texts from her the next day begging, frantically begging, to come apologise in person, fully incriminating herself saying, ‘I’m sorry I was this I was that, I was wasted, I would never do that, I would take it back.’”

The Bachelorette premieres Wednesday October 10 at 7.30pm on Network 10.
