Bach star Timm has been inundated with ‘filthy’ messages

Bachelorette runner-up Timm Hanly has spilt on the risque messages flooding his Instagram DMs since last night’s finale.

Bachelorette runner-up Timm Hanly has opened up about the task of fielding naughty messages that have been flooding his Instagram DMs all day.

Speaking on Kiis FM this morning, the fan-favourite shared that his phone had been “blowing up” with risque photos since the finale aired last night.

“Girls just don’t even say hello, it’s just ‘bang’ nude, straight up,” he told hosts Jackie O, Beau Ryan and James Weir.

“I just send the fire emoji, don’t even talk, just ‘bang” fire emoji,” he said of his go-to response.

The long-haired larrikin was a favourite early on in the season, with fans falling in love with his quirky mannerisms.

Last night, viewers were crushed when he was beaten by handsome personal trainer Carlin but praised the “gracious” way he dealt with being dumped on telly.

After hearing the final verdict, Timm admitted that as he approached the reality star in the final moments of the finale, he “could see in her eyes” there was a “but” coming in her rejection speech.

And he handled it like an absolute champion.

“You were such a surprise,” Angie began. “You’re the person who makes me laugh all the time, and I feel like you’re my soulmate, I do. I love so much about you. I love everything that we’ve had and a piece of me is, like, I can’t picture my life without you’.

“But I think a part of me …,” she trailed off unable to go on and falling into Timm’s chest crying.

“I’ve cherished every moment with you. I love Carlin,” Timm said. “If I could pick anyone to put you with it’s him … don’t be sad.

“I got you this…,” he said, pulling out the ring the winner is supposed to gift Angie and sliding it on her finger, thanking her for the time they’d had together.

Speaking of his relationship with Angie since the show ended, he said he “thinks they’ll be mates forever”, adding that he’s been in touch with winner Carlin, too.

As to whether he’d consider a stint as the next Bachelor, to the delight of precisely all of Australia, Timm was all for it.

“Yeah 100 per cent,” he said, not missing a beat.

“It’d be fun as! Imagine, it’d be an absolute circus with me steering the ship.”
