She may be the frontrunner to win Locky Gilbert’s heart on The Bachelor, but word is the brunette beauty once had a high-profile fling with Cody Simpson.

Bella Varelis is on the race to win Locky Gilbert’s heart on The Bachelor, but this isn’t the first high-profile relationship she has been in.

One of Bella’s Bachelor pals has leaked details about her ‘fling’ with Aussie musician Cody Simpson, the former boyfriend of Miley Cyrus.

The details emerged on the So Dramatic! podcast this week, by host Megan Pustetto, explaining that Bella was very vocal about exposing the details of her affair with the singer.

In fact, the contestant said that Bella “only dates celebs”, and while in the mansion often bragged about the many high-profile people she had dated in the past.

“So Bella was bragging in the house to the other girls that she’d hooked up with and slept with a number of A-list celebs,” Megan said.

“The contestant tells me every day Bella would bring up a new person she’d been with. She would say, ‘I hooked up with this person, I’ve slept with this guy, there were just way too many to count’. She only dates celebs.”

She’s a frontrunner to win Bachelor Locky Gilbert’s heart.

Megan explained that “one of those celebs is none other than Cody Simpson”.

“Bella told the girls in the mansion that she’d slept with him and had a brief fling with him while she was in LA,” she said.

Bella, 25, is based in Sydney and works as a freelance digital marketing creative.

She has previously dated stars of the Bachelor franchise, including model Samuel Johnson, one of the contestants on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette.

Bella also dated a contestant on the US version of The Bachelorette, Dean Michael Unglert.

The reality star defended herself on Instagram recently against the claims that she only dates “Bachie” men, saying she dated Johnson before he was on the show.

“I haven’t ‘slept around with Bachie boys’. I dated my ex before he even did the show, show people see a few dots and like to try (to) connect them when they have absolutely no reason to be connected to justified. Nevertheless, thank you for your opinion and for thinking you know me.”

However, Bella isn’t the only girl who has had a Hollywood romance from this season.

Juliette Herrera, another girl who was vying for Gilbert’s affection, recently admitted to having been in a ‘secret’ relationship with Joel Edgerton.

During an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O, the 34-year-old stylist admitted to dating Joel.

“Look, he was actually very respectful and patient and we never had sex,” she said of their intimacy after shock jock Sandilands asked if they went all the way.

“We were taking it very slow.”

A close friend revealed that Herrera and Edgerton dated for four months in 2011.
