Osher Gunsberg slams Bella’s behaviour on The Bachelor

After the heated showdown between Bella and Irena at the cocktail party, The Bachelor host Osher Günsberg calls out ‘high school’ behaviour.

Osher Günsberg isn’t one to ever take sides during a Bachie showdown, but it seems like he’s cemented himself on team Irena, after her petty argument with fellow contestant Bella Varelis.

Speaking on the most recent episode ofCocktails and Roseswith Bachelor alum Alisha Aitken-Radburn, the 46-year-old made it clear that Bella’s behaviour was childish when she claimed her friendship with Irena Srbinovska was “over”.

Alisha stated that the behaviour shown on Thursday night’s episode was similar to a 17-year-old high school student.

“No, no, no. This was straight out of a grade nine, little lunch conflict playbook,” Osher replied.

“’Friendship over’ is something that you say right before the bell and you have to then go into P.E.

“Come on, man. We’re grown adults. You pay tax, you vote. Come on. No one says ‘friendship over’.”

Bella, 25, and Irena, 31, were “best friends” in the mansion before they were all forced to go home and continue their journey in lockdown due to COVID-19.

Upon returning to the mansion, things were tense between the two, eventually exploding in a confrontation where Bella stated that Irena was lying about how much Locky was calling and messaging her outside of their allocated Zoom dates.

When Bella told Irena that she didn’t trust her anymore, she stormed off.

“Friendship done. I’m f***ing over your bulls**t, to be honest! You’re a manipulative little b***h!” Bella yelled.

However, there might be more to the fight than we saw on TV!

Thankfully, the So Dramatic podcast has gone into what we all missed.

According to the podcast, the fight started over a body-shaming comment from Bella.

Irena allegedly told Steph that Bella had body shamed her, so Steph confronted Bella about the comment. Bella denied saying it.

This urged Bella to confront Irena, calling her a liar in the process, enlisting Izzy, Madi, Bec and Steph onto her side.

“They come up with a plan to tell Locky just how bad Irena is - about her being manipulative and that she’s lied about stuff,” podcast host Megan Pustetto said.

However, in promos for upcoming episodes, we see only Bella confiding in Locky about Irena’s behaviour and their spat, but it seems to backfire and blow up in Bella’s face when Locky doesn’t buy into it.
