Shock twist in Beauty and the Geek
After a gruelling business challenge, one couple earned themselves a huge special power: to bring back an eliminated couple.
Getting to the business end of the competition, challenges are getting even harder on Beauty and the Geek.
During Tuesday’s episode, there was no elimination. Instead, in addition to a date, the challenge winners received a huge special power that will change the course of the competition.
But it wouldn’t be easy to earn. The contestants were thrown into a particularly hard ‘business’ challenge.
Each team were to be guest speakers in a corporate presentation, making up their own fictional business. They were to present to a group of employees from two Australian companies.

The winner of the challenge ended up being Josie and George, who absolutely nailed the challenge – even through a frantic fire alarm.
“I didn’t see that coming. I thought that was the worst challenge I have ever done in my whole life,” laughed Josie.

Along with a date, the couple were rewarded with a special superpower. They were able to bring back one of the last three eliminated couples.
A huge decision no doubt, in which they decided to go with the last eliminated couple, Sam and Aira.

However, that wasn’t the biggest shock of the episode.
During Josie and George’s cooking date, the pair took a huge step forward in their relationship, after recently sharing their first kiss.
George explained how easy it is to talk to Josie, and how much he likes her, but he worries about them being from different cities.
“I live in Melbourne and Josie lives in Sydney. That is 878km away. I know because I Googled,” he tells the camera.
The thought of things not working out because of location is a “heartbreaking” thought, says George.
While cooking fresh pasta on their date, that elephant in the room is addressed.
“Would you like to pursue something after the show?” asks a nervous George, “because I’d like to.”
After a slight pause, Josie gives George the only answer he wanted to hear.
“Yep definitely, I really like where this is going and I want this to continue. I’d so be down for that,” says Josie, smiling.
“Moving to Sydney has always been a goal of mine,” adds George.
Well, that settles it. We truly hope these two go the distance.
