Sam Frost is going to compete in Hell’s Kitchen as she heads back to reality TV
THE former Bachelorette and current radio host seems to have developed a taste for reality television with Frost announcing she’s headed back to Australian screens.
SAM Frost’s stint as The Bachelorette clearly gave the radio host a taste for reality TV because she’s about to head back to Australian screens and this time it’s as a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen.
The reality show normally pits aspiring chefs against each other to produce a full dinner service at a real restaurant but this season the show has instead recruited celebrities to run the kitchen.
Speaking to NewsCorp, the radio host revealed she’s worried about appearing on the show.
“I’m hoping I don’t break down,” Frost said, describing her cooking skill as a minus two out of 10.
“I’m not too sure how I’m going to hold up because I am such a sensitive soul. I don’t take criticism very well, I usually cry.”
The reality star recently took to Instagram to celebrate the announcement, where she again admitted her cooking skills aren’t the best.
Frost has had a tumultuous past few months.
Not only did she split from her Bachelor beau Sasha Mielczarek in December, the Today FM breakfast radio show she co-hosted with Rove McManus was pushed to a night-time slot to make way for Em Rusciano and Harley Breen.
When they lost their coveted breakfast spot in January, Frost hinted she had begun pursuing other gigs outside of radio.
“I’m pleased to move on with my friend Rove to our next gig, as well as undertake other commitments outside of radio.”
And, clearly Frost was referring to competing on Hell’s Kitchen.
Marco Pierre White will host the cooking show after he was poached from Channel Ten’s MasterChef.
The celebrity chef was an easy choice considering he’s already hosted two seasons of the UK version of Hell’s Kitchen.
Frost will compete alongside nine other celebrities including NRL player Willie mason, canoeist and Olympic silver medallist Jess Fox, Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle and former ironwoman Candice Warner.
Also vying for culinary victory will be The Chase’s supernerd Issa Schultz, House Husbands actor Lincoln Lewis, Real Housewives of Melbourne star Pettifleur Berenger and the former deputy leader of One Nation David Oldfield.
Hell’s Kitchen is coming to Channel 7 soon.
