Tori Adams, who is paired with Jack Dunkley on the Channel 9 reality show, has maintained from this season’s debut she’s a “strong woman” who regularly goes “head-to-head” with powerful men in her job as a business development manager.

But fans of the show have called this narrative into question after Tori controversially stuck by her ‘husband’ in favour of her friend, fellow bride Lauren Dunn.

Lauren was trying to support Tori, but it backfired.

Lauren had called out Jack for comments he was said to have made in front of other MAFS grooms, in which he allegedly offered Tori up to sleep with one of them because he “wasn’t attracted” to her.

Jack swiftly tried to pour cold water on the shocking claims, saying he was joking.

He then demanded Lauren’s partner Jonathan to “muzzle your woman”.

Despite the “gross” scenes, Tori planted a kiss on Jack, choosing to believe his version of events before proceeding to tell Lauren she expected more from her.

Viewers have flooded social media calling out Tori for being “delusional”.

Even if Tori really does think what Jack said was a joke, "Muzzle your wife!" wasn't.

And hearing a man say that alone would be a deal-breaker for me.

The fight followed questions surrounding Tori and Jack’s relationship in recent episodes.

The pair, both self-described “sexual” beings, are one of the only couples who haven’t consummated their marriage.

Jack claimed to Tori he wanted time to develop a deeper connection, but also told producers and other MAFS grooms he doesn’t feel a “sexual spark” with his ‘wife’.

Jack and Tori are matched on MAFS.

In the outside world, Jack is also being dragged by his ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade, who has claimed he dumped her weeks before filming began.

In scenes that aired on TV, Jack downplayed he had a relationship prior to entering the experiment, telling his cast mates the woman in question was “crazy”.

“I don’t deserve to be portrayed the way I have been,” Courtney wrote on Instagram last week.

“For something so meaningful to be disregarded like nothing … All I can do now is put my armour on and fight a battle I never wanted.”
