MAFS groom Jack Dunkley exposed by ‘crazy’ ex-girlfriend
The ex-girlfriend of MAFS groom Jack has hit back at his comments about her on the Channel 9 show – sharing loved-up photos taken just before he brutally dumped her.
Married At First Sight groom Jack Dunkley quickly emerged as this season’s ‘villain’ after rumours swirled he dumped his real-life girlfriend just weeks before he began filming in August last year.
The Gold Coast personal trainer became a target at the first MAFS dinner party earlier this month, when fellow cast members got wind of media reports about his ex-girlfriend which surfaced while they were shooting.
Jack, who is ‘married’ to bride Tori Adams, shot down speculation he bailed on his serious relationship, declaring their union was strictly casual and described his ex as “a bit crazy”.
Now, the woman at the centre of it all, Brisbane-based Courtney Jade, has uploaded several photos on her Instagram stories adding fuel to the fire.
“I don’t deserve to be portrayed the way I have been,” Courtney wrote.
“For something so meaningful to be disregarded like nothing … All I can do now is put my armour on and fight a battle I never wanted.”
Courtney then shared two private photos of the pair. In one, she could be seen sitting on Jack’s lap as he wraps his arms around her.
In another, the pair were at Gold Coast Airport together, which she said was taken just one week before he “dumped” her.
Two days after making his Aussie reality TV debut in late January, reports widely circulated that Jack had a girlfriend while he was signing up for the Channel 9 experiment.
According to comments on an Instagram post from gossip account The Wash, which was posted in August last year, Courtney claimed Jack had “met all his family” and “he said he loves me” prior to him abruptly dumping her.
He also allegedly told her he was “moving to America for ‘work opportunities’”, when in actual fact, he was Sydney-bound to start shooting the production.
“My mental health has suffered due to being completely blindsided and losing my best friend to a reality TV show,” Courtney wrote in the comment section of a post with paparazzi photos of Jack on his wedding day at the time.
“Jack has never tried to break up with me and our relationship was becoming quite serious. “We spoke regularly about our future together and I don’t believe he is on the show for the right reasons at all.”
As for Jack’s onscreen ‘wife’ Tori, she has firmly stood by her man, choosing to believe his version of events.
