Confirmed: MAFS’ Sarah Roza and Telv Williams have split up, according to co-star

IT WAS one of the show’s worst-kept secrets, and now it’s official: MAFS favourites Sarah Roza and Telv Williams are done.

MARRIED At First Sight star Ryan Gallagher has finally confirmed one of the show’s worst-kept secrets: that one of the show’s most popular couples have called it quits.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Ryan admitted that Sarah Roza, 38, and Telv Williams, 33, were “not together.”

“They’ve both got their demons. He’s in Melbourne now, but they’re not together,” he said.

“They’re still talking and they’re civil to one another, but they’ve got a lot of baggage between them ... I don’t think they see eye-to-eye on a lot of things.”

Rumours of a split have been plaguing the couple for weeks, although they attempted to keep up appearances while the show was airing, posting regular couple selfies and turning up to events together.

However, fans watching the show had seen their romance begin to wane in the final weeks, as the reality of life outside the show started to hit them.

The cracks first began to show when both their families were set to come together for a joint dinner, but a fight from the night before meant they weren’t speaking. According to Telv, Sarah had snapped at him for looking at a Snapchat instead of paying attention to her in a taxi. Sarah then brought up their troubles in front of his parents and her brothers in an attempt to get some advice — much to the mortification of Telv.

However, after the episode aired, Sarah took to Instagram to defend herself, claiming that “the real reason for the fight was edited out” by producers.

“Wow! You all think I was just being overly sensitive because I had my period? NO. Definitely not the case,” Sarah wrote.

“I’m a strong, resilient woman and it takes a LOT to make me upset like that but of course it doesn’t make sense to you all because the real reason for the fight (which definitely wasn’t the first one we had) was completely edited out.”

As the season prepared to wrap-up, they recommitted to each other, but it was clear Sarah was frustrated that Telv wasn’t going to move in with her immediately after filming ended. Instead, he wanted to to spend “six weeks or so” packing up his things before making the move from Perth to Melbourne.

Meanwhile, a video surfaced earlier this month showing Telv snorting a substance from the exposed bottom cheek of a woman wearing a red G-string.

The images and video first emerged in Woman's Day.

Telv then holds two small bags of white powder in his mouth as his head is pressed into the side of the topless woman wearing a red suspender belt, Woman’s Day has reported.

The video is believed to have been filmed in early 2017.
