MAFS groom Ryan leaks ‘I love you’ texts from Jacqui sent before final vows
Ryan has outed TV wife Jacqui by leaking their texts, which paint a very different picture to what has played out on screen.
Married At First Sight groom Ryan has leaked texts from his ex-TV-wife Jacqui he claims were sent just before their explosive final vows were filmed.
The WhatsApp conversation shows the controversial bride declaring she “loved” him and hoped to at least be “friends with benefits”, which purportedly took place in the days leading up to the finale showdown between the pair on Monday night.
Viewers watched as Jacqui voiced her intention to completely destroy her husband, declaring to him, “Ryan, in a world of red flags, you are the red carpet”, among other stinging barbs.
It followed a bizarre pattern for the two over the course of the series, where Jacqui and Ryan would frequently engage in petty arguments before reverting to more loved-up behaviour.
In the texts now shared by Ryan on his Instagram account, the pair appear to be discussing the process of writing their vows in a lighthearted manner, with Jacqui seemingly saying the decision to stay together was “50:50 for me.”

“The positives,” Jacqui began. “Intimcay (sic) sex 10/10. Ambition / goals – 10/10 match. Pictures and business – 10/10 match. Hot babies – 10/10,” she wrote.
“All of that is so great with us. You are my joyful match.”
Ryan didn’t share what he wrote to prompt the following message from Jacqui, which read, “But why not Ryan. We are so much fun!! Maybe friends with benefits. Surely.”
After Ryan didn’t respond within 22 minutes, Jacqui wrote, “Okay no worries.”
He chimed in, questioning, “Jacqui I don’t really know what you’re asking or trying to say. You want to stay together because of sex and fun?”
Jacqui replied, “Yeah I’m scared to loose (sic) that! I dunno, am I crazy. For missing you..”
In the final slide, Ryan told Jacqui he wasn’t sure what to believe after she went on a date and shared her phone number with an intruder groom during the final challenge, in scenes which aired last week.
“Awwww I’m sorry xx,” Jacqui wrote. “I love you Ryan, I truely (sic) do. And would never disrespect you.”

Writing a lengthy caption alongside the screenshots, Ryan accused Jacqui of “dragging” him to final vows just to have her “mic drop / f**k you” moment.
He also accused her of forging a romance with fellow MAFS groom Clint during the final days of filming. Jacqui has openly posted about her new relationship with Clint since filming wrapped, despite her contract with Nine forbidding the cast from sharing spoilers.
“In between the final temptation task and final vows – she was forming the relationship with Clint, actively pursuing him and had the agenda to lie and manipulate to reach the end of MAFS filming,” Ryan claimed.
“She would say anything, no matter how disgraceful, in order to drag me to final vows. Including, ‘I want us to stay together; I truly do love you, let’s get an apartment together.’
“Nothing about Jacqui is genuine. Guys trust me when I say that 95% of the other participants want nothing to do with her.”
Finally, Ryan argued his vows were “balanced, not spiteful”.
“Which is 100 x better than what she deserved,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, over on Jacqui’s social media account, the law graduate has been sharing dozens of messages of support from viewers in her inbox.
