An Australian reality TV personality has shared the aftermath of a cruel prank that left her with painful lacerations to her neck.

Leesh Cunningham, who appeared on season one of Stan’s Love Triangle in 2022, took to Tik Tok to slam pranksters who set up a dangerous obstacle along a Sydney running track.

The TV star was running in a wooded area when she was badly injured by a line of fishing wire tied between two trees and hanging at neck height.

While she continued her jog, the F45 trainer captured the injuries she sustained and slammed the people behind the cruel stunt.

“I don’t want to disrupt my run. But, some f**kwit has put fishing line across two trees. Right in [the] neckline,’ she said while pointing to a laceration across her neck.

“Seriously, if it’s kids, you actually don’t understand how serious that can be. Especially running at speed. Right there! F**king hell.”

Responding to concerned comments, the runner confirmed the incident took place in Killarney Vale, on the NSW Central Coast and reassured fans that she has made police aware of the shocking act.

‘Seriously, what goes through someone’s thick head when they do messed up stuff like this! It could have been so much worse!” she captioned the video.

The reality star said she was lucky to have noticed the wire moments before running into it.

“I saw it, but because I was running I didn’t have enough time to stop. So it still hit me, but if I hadn’t seen it at all that would have done so much more damage,’ she told Yahoo! News.

Ms Cunningham admitted she feared for her safety, worrying the person who strung up the wire might have still been in the area and held sinister intentions.

‘I was frantically looking and yelling just in case there was someone there,’ she said

Commenters on the Tik Tok indicated these kinds of encounters are not uncommon along The Central Coast or across Australia.

“Someone did this across mountain bike trails in Hobart. It can literally kill someone! Glad you’re OK,” one supporter commented.

“This happens so much on the Coast,” another said.
