Evictees confirm Richie only likes the blondes

THIRTEEN of the girls competing for Richie’s heart never really stood a chance of winning. Their fate was as inevitable as a tantrum from Keira. Here’s why.

THE Bachelor has had his pick of 22 beautiful women this season — and 13 of them appear to have been set up for failure.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious to viewers that Richie Strahan has a specific type, and last night’s evictee Sasha Zhuravlyova has confirmed he favours the fair-haired ladies.

“He likes the blondes,” said the 31-year-old executive assistant, revealing it was so apparent to the brunette contestants that they’d joke about ways to fix the problem.

“In the house we were like, ‘can we get some blonde dye?’” she laughed.

Latest evictee Sasha says Richie prefers blondes.

And Sasha’s not the first to say it.

Laura Williams and Mia McKinnon — some of the first contestants to be sent packing — both confirmed to news.com.au that Richie definitely had a type.

After their evictions, Mia predicted he’d end up with “someone blonde” — and guess what Laura answered when asked who he’d end up with?

“She’s probably blonde.”

There’s no denying the top four favourites at the moment certainly fit that description — Alex Nation (aka Bearer of the White Rose), Nikki Gogan, Faith Williams and Megan Marx.

But despite his obvious preference, Sasha admits she didn’t expect to get the boot last night.

“I was shocked. There were a lot of emotions,” she said.

She also answered the major burning question from episode one: why in the world did she start eating her rose during the ceremony?

EXCUSE ME, WHAT!?

“There was sugar on top of it,” she explained (say no more).

“I didn’t care that there were cameras there. I needed a sugar hit!”
