The controversial KIIS FM radio host who stars alongside Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has made a bizarre promise during a risque on-air speech.

Sydney breakfast radio duo Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson have “eclipsed” their own rating records, with shock jock Sandilands vowing to commit a controversial act if the show continues its winning streak in the following months.

The KIIS FM breakfast stars scored their highest ever radio ratings figure in their two-decade history on air, in the third GfK rating survey instalment for this year.

The pair secured an outstanding 17.9 per cent audience share for the Monday to Friday breakfast timeslot – an increase of 2.8 per cent from the second survey which was conducted between February 5 and April 1.

2GB’s Ben Fordham came in second place again, recording a 15 per cent audience share for the same time period, an increase of 0.3 per cent.

Kyle broke the news on-air just after the 10am news bulletin, and despite sounding a little “deflated”, he kicked off the announcement with a small extract of Queen’s ‘We are the Champions’.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this show is supreme compared to all of the other shows. They’re a piece of sh*t,” he boasted.

“It’s almost embarrassing that every eight weeks, we’re going to come out and say we’ve eclipsed our last record.”

After revealing the record audience share figure, the show’s listeners were greeted with an ecstatic “Kyle and Jackie ‘O’” chant from its producers and studio team.

Kyle continued to ridicule the show’s competitors including Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, who scored 6.8 per cent in audience shares, a decrease of 0.2 per cent from last survey’s result of 7 per cent.

“They might as well go home. I really don’t understand how you can even keep the doors open,” he joked.

Jackie ‘O’ didn’t appear to be particularly pleased with her co-hosts comments, complaining she “hates” this part of the show and how Kyle “talks it up so much”.

“More listeners than ever before,” Kyle continued. “It’s almost like herpes.”

“Herpes goes around the community, everyone’s got the herpes. Welcome to the club. We’re all the herpes club here … Thank you to everyone who listens.”

“That’s the most important part, is everyone who listens to us and the show,” Jackie ‘O’ said in response in an attempt to curtail Kyle’s uncensored opinion.

Kyle then took aim at his co-host, saying it was Jackie’s weight loss that “assisted the rating to spike”.

“And I feel that more people are listening because Jackie has lost all that fat, and she is totally rootable again,” he said.

“Jackie is hot. I thank you for losing all that blubber and assisting the ratings to spike again.”

The radio queen and Weight Watchers (WW) ambassador lost 18 kgs in the last five months after overhauling her lifestyle.

“I did it for the team guys,” she said.

Kyle’s six-minute acceptance speech grew more graphic just past the halfway mark, with the co-host making a bawdy promise.

“I’ve gone from a half chub to a full mongrel, just so you know, and that is how you know you’ve done well,” Kyle said.

“When you are sitting at work with a massive hard-on, it doesn’t get much better than that. It is pressed against these tight jeans.”

He then asked Jackie ‘O’ how she was feeling, to which she replied: “I don’t get the flutters if that’s what you’re asking when it comes to situations like this … Kyle please come on.”

For a second, the studio fell silent to the point where you could almost hear a pin drop, until the studio team began another chant for Kyle to get his “c*** out”.

“I am not here to gloat. I am not getting my c*** out at work, come on man. If we pull a 20 per cent share, I will jerk it off on air,” Kyle vowed.

“I’m going to hold you to that,” Jackie ‘O’ replied as the studio team cheered.

“I’m a married man, grow up,” Kyle said.

KIIS 1065 Breakfast newsreader Brooklyn Ross pointed out it would take only a three percentage increase to reach that mark, with Jackie encouraging the audience to keep on listening.

Rival 2GB has lost the mantle as the city’s highest-ranking breakfast radio show this year, with powerhouse duo Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ dominating the ratings since the start of the year.

In the first GfK ratings survey of 2023, KIIS’ breakfast show knocked 2GB’s Ben Fordham out of the number one spot, which came as a massive blow for the talkback radio station.

Ben Fordham’s show held the top spot unchallenged for 146 consecutive surveys over 18 years.
