Kyle Sandilands slams ‘stupid, immature’ David Campbell

“He makes me physically sick to look at.” Kyle Sandilands did not hold back while talking about TV host David Campbell on-air today.

Kyle Sandilands has launched an explosive rant at David Campbell on-air today, reigniting his long-running feud with the TV host.

The 51-year-old Sydney radio host was speaking on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show Friday morning when he declared the Today Extra presenter was a “flop”, adding “he makes me physically sick to look at.”

Sandilands, who has long been candid about his disliking for Campbell, 49, was triggered after listening to an interview the Nine co-host conducted on-air with Married At First Sight groom Jesse Burford.

Kyle Sandilands and David Campbell have long been at odds.

Jesse, who was engulfed in the show’s cheating scandal this week after his ‘wife’ Claire Nomarhas kissed another contestant, appeared on the morning program where Campbell suggested the affair may have been his own fault for treating Claire poorly at the beginning.

“Let me put it this way, we watched you on the show give your list of icks, kind of ignore her … Where’s your responsibility?,” Campbell asked.

Jesse Burford appeared on Today Extra, where David Campbell suggested his wife’s affair may have been his own fault.

And after playing a snippet of Campbell’s interview on-air this morning, Sandilands unleashed.

“That’s what David Campbell is like. David Campbell reads a headline somewhere, believes it to be 100 per cent true, does no research and forms a very stupid, immature opinion because that’s what that type of person does,” Sandilands said.

“The guy’s a flop. I’ve never liked him. I like [Campbell’s co-host] Sylvia [Jeffreys] but I can’t watch her because he [Campbell] makes me physically sick to look at.

“This is his way of pumping himself up so he’s a woke hero, and no one likes that.

“This guy doesn’t actually have his own opinion. He always does what he thinks people would like, but he really has zero personality.”

Sandilands hasn’t been shy hitting out at Campbell on his radio show over the years.

Long-running listeners of Kyle and Jackie O will be aware of the shock jock’s beef with Campbell.

Sandilands finally explained why he wasn’t a fan of the singer in an interview with news.com.au in 2017, revealing they were friends until Campbell “jumped on the bandwagon” and turned on him.

“That c**k breath, I can’t stand him,” Sandilands said at the time.

“As soon as he had a chance to have a little whinge during one of my many f**k ups of life, he was one of the ones to first sink the boot in as many people did.

“And I thought, f**k you dog! I’ve done the right thing by you the whole time and he just jumped on the bandwagon. He’s just a peasant. Now he’s no friend of mine.”

Campbell, for his part, has never commented on their beef in the media.
