Kyle and Jackie O’s celebrity radio stunt that went horribly wrong

Jackie O has opened up about the time she was almost arrested in Los Angeles after gaining access to a celebrity’s house.

Jackie O almost got arrested when a celebrity radio stunt went horribly wrong.

Kyle and Jackie O recalled the incident, which happened a number of years ago when they were in Los Angeles, on KIIS FM this morning.

“We were doing a star maps tour and we were seeing if we could knock on people’s homes and be let in by saying, ‘We’re here for an interview’,” Jackie O said.

“Nobody believed us, except for Jane Seymour.”

Jane Seymour grew suspicious.

The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star let Jackie O into her home and made her a cup of tea, but the actress quickly grew suspicious.

“She goes, ‘I don’t know anything about this’,” Jackie O recalled. “She starts making calls in front of us and then she starts getting angry and realising we’re lying. She’s furious.”

Kyle, who was waiting in a parked car out the front of Seymour’s house, suddenly received a flurry of text messages from his panicked co-host saying, “She’s onto us! She’s gonna ring the police!”

Kyle texted Jackie O to run out of the house, which is exactly what she did.

“I just remember you getting back in the car and you were very angry,” he said.

“I almost got arrested,” Jackie O said. “I don’t know what we were thinking.”

Kyle and Jackie O, whose show is the number one FM breakfast program in Sydney, are famous for their extreme stunts.

From Naked Dating to sending out their show’s intern to make inappropriate comments to members of the royal family, the duo constantly push the boundaries.

But there’s one stunt in particular that Kyle’s never been able to get over the line, and it’s a doozy.

Speaking to news.com.au, Jackie O explained how Kyle and their army of KIIS FM producers came up with the zany idea.

“To put it in context, the other day we had a conversation about how I have been through IVF and I still have in storage, in the freezer, probably about 10 or 12 embryos,” Jackie O said.

“I said to the guys, ‘You know, I don’t think we’re going to have any more kids and I’m still paying every month for the storage. I have no idea what I’m going to do with them.’

“So, of course, they had an idea. You know how we do those competitions where we say, ‘You get a car! You get a holiday!’ They wanted to give away my embryos. ‘You get a baby!’”

Ryan Gallagher from MAFS was a guest on Kyle and Jackie O’s Naked Dating.

Kyle told news.com.au he was disappointed the “brilliant idea” would never make it to air.

“Apparently not allowed,” he said.

“Legal said no and Jackie said no … All those parents who want a baby and Jackie’s sitting on all these refrigerated kids.”
