Chris Noth, John Corbett and David Eigenberg have all signed on to reprise their roles in the Sex And The City reboot, And Just Like That.

A senior production source confirmed to DailyMail.com that “viewers will definitely see Big, Aidan and Steve” in the HBO Max series.

Back in February, Noth and Eigenberg had not yet signed onto the reboot and fans were distraught about what the absences of Mr. Big, Aidan Shaw and Steve Brady would mean to the storyline.

The source also revealed that infamous costume designer Patricia Field, who styled Carrie’s iconic looks, will not be returning to the reboot but will be replaced by stylist Molly Rogers.

Rogers has a lot to live up to when dressing the trendsetting fashionista but “worked under Patricia for the series’ original run as the stylist” with other “impressive” credits including The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty.

The most controversial loss to the show however is Kim Cattrall, who will not be returning to her iconic role as Samantha Jones, reportedly due to a falling out with the other leads.

Samantha’s wild sex stories and snappy comebacks will leave a big gap in the show, but producers plan to replace her with not one character, but three women of colour.

Sara Ramirez has been the first new member to be cast and will play Che Diaz, described as “a nonbinary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast on which Carrie Bradshaw is regularly featured”.

“Che is a big presence with a big heart whose outrageous sense of humour and progressive, human overview of gender roles has made them and their podcast very popular,” HBO said.
