PRINCE George and Princess Charlotte were on their best behaviour, winning hearts and plenty of relieved smiles from the parents at Pippa Middleton’s wedding.
The three-year-old future king and his littler sister, two, dressed in bespoke outfits by Spanish retailer Pepa and Co, put on a cute-as-a-button display at St Mark’s Church in Englefield.
While the four page boys and four flowergirls took some wrangling, their mother Kate had the little ones well in hand, putting her finger to her lips at one point to quieten the excited attendants before their big walk down the aisle.
Prince George dotted on his Princess Charlotte, reaching for her little hand as they waited inside the countryside church, with their elegant mother watching on.
But one roguish pageboy, who managed to escape Kate’s attention, gave the crowds a two-fingered salute, captured dutifully by the waiting press pack.
Prince George was joined in the bridal party by Casimir Tatos, Edward Sebire and William Ward, while Princess Charlotte carried floral arrangements alongside Countess Philippa Hoyos, Lily French and Avia Horner.
Little Avia is the daughter of Lady Emily Compton, the former social editor of society bible Tatler, and Edward Horner, a city financier friend of James Matthews.
