Margot Robbie hit the red carpet in Sydney in a daring ‘90s supermodel inspired look.
After a whirlwind global promotional tour for her buzzy new film Babylon, which debuts in theatres January 19, Robbie finally made it to her home country for the local premiere of the Damien Chazelle-directed film.
The 32-year-old Oscar-nominated star, who just two days ago attended the London screening, wore a striking, powder blue vintage Versace gown with red lace details for the event.

Robbie was also joined by her Babylon co-star, Mexican actor Diego Calva, who is visiting Australia for the first time.
The I, Tonya actress previously talked about how “frantic” she was to score the role of Nellie LaRoy in the period dramedy, which also stars Brad Pitt.
“When I got the script for Babylon, I felt I had to do it. I’ve never felt that way about a script,” Robbie told W Magazine.
“I was frantic. At one point, I suggested showing up at the director’s house.
“When we eventually met, I said, ‘I have to play this character. She’s mine.’”
Elsewhere on the carpet were fellow Australian actresses and Robbie’s close friends, Phoebe Tonkin and Samara Weaving, who both feature in the film.
Married At First Sight star Olivia Frazer also scored an invite, alongside a slew of other local TV personalities and influencers.
Babylon has been garnering Oscars chatter since it premiered in the US over Christmas, with Robbie scoring a nomination for the Golden Globes earlier this month for her performance.
Babylon has been short-listed for Oscars in the Best Sound, Best Make-Up and Best Music.
The Academy is expected to announce its official nominations next week.
