Spice Girl Geri’s big change amid husband’s sexting scandal
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has appeared to make a big change in the wake of her husband Christian Horner’s sexting scandal.
Geri Halliwell has ditched her husband Christian Horner’s name in a recent video after his sexting scandal rocked their marriage.
The Spice Girl, 51, reverted to her maiden name during a recent presenting stint at a fashion exhibition.
She headed to Scotland for the star-studded Christian Dior fashion show, where she teamed up with Dior for a “spend a day with me” documentary video for social media.
Geri allowed the cameras to follow her for the behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition held in Perthshire’s Drummond Castle.
Wearing a cream dress and matching heels, the star told the cameras in French: “C’est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell” which translates to “It’s me Geri, Geri Halliwell”.
The Sun has contacted a representative for Geri for comment.
This year Geri has failed to post any photos with Christian on Instagram, instead opting to share snapshots of her life in the country and photos with the Spice Girls.
Geri was left “mortified and angry” after bombshell claims were made against Christian, who she wed in 2015, by a female colleague.
Team principal Horner was initially under investigation over alleged “inappropriate” behaviour towards a female staffer.
The Red Bull boss, who is paid $15 million a year, denied all claims and the couple put on a united front in March after the ‘sexts’ allegedly sent by Horner were leaked.
Geri was later said to be “relieved and elated” when her husband was cleared of wrongdoing.
The unnamed complainant has since been suspended by the team and has launched an appeal against the decision.
Geri and Christian were last month spotted in public smiling and hugging as they watched their horse, Lift me UP, at Stratford Racecourse.
Friendship never ends
It comes as Spice Girls fans were given fresh hope of a reunion after the girls got together for Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party.
The girls were filmed singing and dancing at Victoria’s ritzy party thrown by Becks.
There are hopes the five-piece will agree to make a reunion show for Netflix too – following Victoria and husband David’s successful series.
A source told Daily Mail: “It might have been awkward for Geri to get out there and talk about Girl Power in these circumstances surrounding Christian.
“But in truth even before it all came out she wasn’t keen on revisiting those days.
“She just didn’t want to go over all the fun, wild times that they had.”
