David Beckham has shared footage of the Spice Girls singing along to one of their greatest hits at wife Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party.

The lavish bash – which cost an estimated $480,000 – at Oswald’s, a private members’ restaurant in London, was attended by all four of Victoria’s former bandmates and a host of star guests, including Tom Cruise and Eva Longoria.

Granting the wishes of diehard Spice Girls fans everywhere, David posted a video to Instagram of the girl group singing and dancing to ‘Stop’, captioned: “I mean come on x”.

The clip had the desired effect, with British supermodel Adwoa Aboah commenting: “What dreams are made of!”

“David you are the best social media manager out there, thank you for giving the people CONTENT,” another of his followers wrote.

“I am crying happy tears! OMG! I love Spice Girls so freaking much! Happy birthday, Victoria!” a third said.

“The moment the entire planet has been waiting for,” a fourth commented.

During an appearance on UK talk show Loose Women last month, Mel B hinted a Spice Girls reunion of some kind would “definitely” be happening this year.

“We are definitely doing something,” Scary Spice told co-host Christine Lampard.

“I’m probably going to get told off (for revealing that), but I’ve said it. There you go. I’m in trouble now.”

She previously told The Daily Telegraph that Victoria – aka Posh Spice – had asked them to get together.

“We are doing something together as the Spice Girls and it has always been me kind of championing everybody together,” she said in an interview with the newspaper last July.

“This time it was actually Victoria that was saying, ‘Come on, let’s all do something’.

“So we have got something in the works, which will be announced soon.”
