Hugh Jackman’s ex Deborra-Lee Furness reveals X-rated career move
Deborra-Lee Furness has made her first appearance on Aussie TV since splitting from actor Hugh Jackman.
Deborra-Lee Furness appeared on Aussie TV on Tuesday for the first time since her split with Hollywood star Hugh Jackman, and revealed she’s been throwing herself into work.
Furness and Jackman announced their shock split last year after decades of marriage in a move that left fans stunned.
Furness appeared on The Project on Tuesday night where she opened up about her latest project which is set to hit cinemas in Australia next month, teasing that fans will get to see a lot of her on the big screen.
Furness, who appears alongside Jacqueline McKenzie in Force of Nature: The Dry 2, revealed that filming was anything but how the title sounds.
“I called it The Wet the whole way through. We lived it,” joked Furness.
Her co-star agreed, saying: “It was one of those when I read it, the script, I noticed the characters were in the wet and I got to keep my clothes on so to speak …”
Furness then interjected: “And I didn’t. You really should see this film.”
The film proved to be a tough shoot for the stars, with Furness going on to confess that she regularly had “nightmares” about the ordeal.
“It’s not in a studio,” said McKenzie. “It was the real deal. We were climbing mountains. It was quite invigorating even though it was really scary with the leeches? We were outdoors in the elements.”
“We had to carry the equipment down to set every day,” added Furness. “There was no parking so we had to carry the cameras. Everything in half an hour, downhill and half an hour back. If you wanted to go to the toilet, good luck! I still have nightmares about the port a loos!”
It comes after Furness offered up a very blunt message in the wake of her split from longtime husband. The Australian actress was spotted over the weekend in Bondi wearing a “Sh*t Happens” T-shirt.
