Actor Deborra-lee Furness is set to make her first Australian public appearances after her shock split from her husband of 27 years Hugh Jackman, and may be headed to Melbourne.

Deborra-lee Furness is preparing to make her first public appearance in Australia since the shock announcement last year that her marriage to Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman was over.
Furness and Jackman confirmed in September that they had separated after 27 years of marriage. They share two children.
Furness arrived in Australia late last week and will step out on the red carpet for the Sydney premiere of Force of Nature: The Dry 2 on Tuesday.
She plays Jill Bailey in the movie that is based on the book by Jane Harper.
The world premiere of the film will be held in Melbourne tomorrow (Sunday, January 21) with the movie’s headliners Eric Bana and Anna Torv attending.
Furness is expected to be among the VIP guests at Australian Open finals at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne next weekend.
Furness and Jackman have handled their separation with grace and remain supportive of each other.
In October Furness was at dinner with Jackman at the Polo Bar in New York City celebrating the Greatest Showman’s 55th birthday.
Last month they released a joint statement via social media paying tribute to their friend, Australian chef, Bill Granger who died in London aged 54.
